Le Lab X welcomes people who want to learn, build, and share around AI. To join, start with Octopus on Telegram.

Ask for access

Open Octopus, send /rejoindre, and answer its check. It will give you a link valid for 15 minutes to request entry to the group.

Read the charter below before joining. The group is free, and your request will be approved automatically for the same Telegram account.

How to join

The group is free to join. The private wiki opens after seven days in the group, once your membership has been verified.

  1. Send /rejoindre to Octopus, answer the calculation, then open the link with the same Telegram account.
  2. When you arrive, find the welcome guide in “Nouveaux membres”, then introduce yourself in “Les membres”. Have an idea or a problem with the joining process? Send /feedback to Octopus in a private message to add it to the Lab’s feedback inbox.
  3. After seven days in the group, sign in with Telegram to access the private wiki.

For joining and onboarding, Octopus uses your Telegram ID, the dates of your requests and arrival, and a fingerprint of the invitation link. Activity counts are based on participation in the group; they do not retain the content of conversations. If you use /feedback in a private message, the text you send next and your Telegram identity are kept for 90 days in the Lab’s private feedback inbox, accessible only through wiki administration.

How does the Lab work?10 points that keep the conversation useful and respectful
  1. Disagree on ideas, never on people. Harassment, insults, and personal attacks have no place here.
  2. Add something useful when you can. If a thread isn't for you, it's fine to let it pass.
  3. To keep Le Lab X active, members who have not participated for more than 60 days are removed from the group without a reminder. You can return through Octopus when you want to take part again. This rule is separate from wiki access after seven full days.
  4. When you arrive, introduce yourself briefly in Members: what you do, what you're exploring, and what you want to learn, build, or share.
  5. Use the right channel and give context. No spam, no shady access, and nothing that could put a member in a tight spot.
  6. Telethon and agents can help measure activity, surface themes, and prepare the weekly recap. This is explained before members join, and questions are welcome.
  7. Quoting, screenshots, exports, reproduction, and republication outside the Lab require the author's permission.
  8. No hidden, targeted collection. Scraping, transcription, surveillance, or impersonation means permanent exclusion.
  9. Official spaces are Telegram and X. le-lab-x.com is the public showcase. No other group is official unless announced there.
  10. Octopus remains the only authorized bot. It manages invitations, helps new members get started, publishes the weekly recap, and analyzes shared links. To share feedback, send /feedback to Octopus in a private message. Your feedback will be saved in the Lab’s private feedback inbox, accessible only through wiki administration. Any other bot, bridge, recorder, or automation needs prior approval.
